Facility Reviews
Simple, clean, and easy to use.
Midguard is clean conveniently located storage facility with excellent customer service.
Rented online very convenient, staff very helpful, located right where I needed it to be.I would definitely recommend this facility....
I was given the wrong code to access code to the gate twice
I truly like renting here. Very easy to navigate the rental process.
The process of leasing a unit wad quick and easy. The only issue I had was finding my unit. That was only due to my misunderstanding. All in all the experience was great!
And very concerned and caring about the customer situation. They listens. To understand. What's going. And how they can assist. The customer service. Were great and quick services. And supportive. Very professional. Thank you all.
I reserved my parking spot online and confirmed the process in person. The gentleman I dealt with during my registering process was cordial and respectful. He was however extremely slow. The process took an hour, he's obviously new, I get it, I'm sure he'll be great with experience. He had to constantly call his manager with questions, okay, we'll get there. I brought my RV to park it a few days later. I arrived just before 9 AM and couldn't find any keypad or electronic gate. I walked almost completely around the facility and couldn't find any kind of opening where I was supposed to leave my RV. Finally, shortly after 9, the duty person opened the office. I asked him where I was supposed to park my RV. I showed him my card with gate code, and he replied, "parking spots are across the road". Seems like I should have been told that when I registered and paid my "administration fee" days earlier. Back I went across the road only to discover my code wouldn't work. Back to the office where I was told, "the weather might be affecting your code". The weather? Seriously? What are the weather restrictions? We had heavy rain all weekend, is that the issue? Anyway, he gave me an "emergency code which worked fine. I drove into the yard, found my spot, parked and left my RV.
What really made me realize this facility isn’t like the others, was not long after moving in, I didn’t pull my door completely shut after a visit. The lock was secure but there was approx a inch opening at the bottom of the door. Within an hour I received a call that my unit was insecure. That really showed me how much they cared about the security of my unit. It may not seem like much, but anyone with the correct tool could have pried my door open just enough to slide under. When I got the unit it was originally meant as a temporarily solution. That was over 1-1/2 years ago Lol. Since I was only storing items for an eventual yard sale, I wasn’t sure what size I needed at the time. The office staff didn’t hesitate to let me know I could easily downsize or upgrade at any time. Trust me when I say this facility is the best. Due to my person experience with the “Other” rental companies I definitely did my homework before choosing and trusting Midguard with my belongings: Over the past 20 years I’ve utilized another company for all my storing needs. HUGE MISTAKE! Most of these times it contained all my furnishings. I’ve had two (2) detrimental issues to arise. One was over 20+ units burned down completely, mine being one of them. The facility acted as if they never heard of me an avoided all contact. After 2 years I found out it was due to their negligence. My personal home rental Ins paid so I didn’t persue the issue further. The 2nd time (same company)my container became infested with Termites, after personally paying an exterminator they found the building was infested. Once again the same company denied any responsibility.
Happy with the size of the unit I rented, just wish it was cooler in the “climate-controlled” area…
