I contacted Extra Space Storage by phone with a few questions about the facility, and ended up booking a space while we were on the phone. The representative was friendly and helpful, and answered all my questions. The communication was great throughout the day, and my access code and instructions were texted to me right away. I brought my things to the facility the same day, and everything about the move-in was smooth and easy. I stopped in the office, and Mark was very nice. He offered a map of the building so I would know which entrance was closest for my unit. The facility is clean and very well lit. I appreciated the available carts right at the building entrances. The unit seems very secure. The only negatives of the experience were: 1. There are two restrooms in the building (which is great) but BOTH were out of service... hopefully they will be fixed soon. 2. The units are "air cooled" which is a must for our items, especially in Las Vegas. However, all of the cooling vents on the whole floor where our unit is located were closed, so no air was blowing and it was very hot. The vents were easily opened (they were a little too high to reach without a stepstool but were reachable by holding something long enough). Cool air immediately started blowing, but I would hope that is not a regular occurrence since we won't be there every day to check them! Overall, I highly recommend this facility for its cleanliness, lighting and security.
