After a poor (and very overpriced experience) with another Santa Rosa storage facility, I found Extra Space Storage on Highway 12. While it is also in Santa Rosa, that is where the similarities end. First of all - service! It is impeccable and professional. Robby made me feel welcome the minute I arrived and took the time to go over the fees, which were 2/3 less than the pervious unit! He gave me a thorough tour and made sure I understood how everything in the building works. He gave me his card and encouraged me to call anytime I needed help. To say I felt like a valued customer form the get go is an understaement.The facility is well-organized, spotless, and secure. I am relieved and grateful to find such a save haven for my possessions in Sonoma County.
Pretty easy to get in and out, but also a lot of stop gaps to prevent theft if you go upstairs. Elevator works, is a little weird in set up but it’s easy once you get the rhythm (call elevator, it arrives, punch in code, then go up). Nice folks, manager and staff were really understanding and helpful.
The staff greeted me with open arms. They gave me a tour of the facility and showed all the different size units. We talked about my needs and what I can afford. I settled on a 10x5 that was perfect. First month is free
