I have been a customer at this facility for almost 2 years now. I purposely refrained from submitting a review so I could offer a thorough account of my experience. First I want to say that the manager, Shawn Kennedy, has been a pleasure to deal with and the main reason for transferring my belongings from a nearby competitor. Shawn has always been willing to help me in anyway possible. One example is when I was feeling frustrated with having two smaller units that took so much time to open and close each visit. Shawn was able to save me some money by putting me in a larger unit which combined everything nicely and he even helped move my items on his time off! The facility has state of the art security with each unit being wired with an alarm, as well as cameras throughout, code entrance/exit gates, super high walls (almost prison like,lol) and if that doesnt satisfy you rhen you will be happy to know the manager resides on-site. The restroom is located at front and always clean and sanitary but you must grab the key from the office first. If your thirtsy you can head into the office for free coffee, tea or bottle water anytime. If your craving more of a sugar rush then bring a buck for your pick of various soft drinks at the Coca Cola machine located next to restroom. The units are pretty standard and the facility offers various footage to fit your needs. One thing to keep in mind, that is if you end up with an inside building unit, is that this place is basically all metal and concrete and tends to amplify whatever temperature the outside environment is. It may be slightly chilly outside but you may want to grab a sweater/jacket if spending a bit of time moving or organizing your unit. Pricing for this facility can be slightly higher depending on numerous things but I can honestly say it is well worth the security and the consistent awesome staff that will make any extra funds a non-issue. Manager Shawn Kennedy provides outstanding customer service. When I needed to downsize my unit, he gave me the right space for my needs.
I've used this company for over 5 years to store product we didn't have room for at the office and it's always been very clean and the customer service is very good as well.
Cubesmart has been a seamless experience from a online reservation to renting the unit, the workflow(computerized) is well designed and doesn't require singing of endless amount of paperwork as in case of other public storage companies. Best part is there is no bait and switch tactics or upsell tactics of their services or goods like moving supplies etc. You have a choice to bring in your lock too unlike other companies who charge a arm and a leg for a $10 lock and won't take any other lock than what they sell. The facility is clean, spacious and secured. Staff is uber friendly. This is my first sighting of a public storage with a front office seen offering a keurig coffee..
I moved back to Minnesota and they have been accommodating and kind in reminding me when payments are due etc. Their are professional and very helpful. Safe and secure place for storing your valuable stuff.
The location and the facility are nice, the price is right on the web with 15% discount .... But when I signed up, I was hit by an additional $11/month insurance and $22 admin fee. Maybe it is disclosed in the web and I missed it. If the mandatory insurance is added into the rate, I feel more comfortable. Other than that, I like the storage.
