A self storage business is kept alive by its customers and knowing how to treat them well is of paramount importance in order to ensure success. CubeSmart Self Storage knows this all too well. The self-administered and self-managed facility recently won the Gold Stevie Award in the ninth annual Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service.
Created in 2002, the Stevie Awards Competitions recognize the accomplishments and contributions of companies and business people all over the word. In addition to the Sales and Customer Service competition, the organization holds six others, including The American Business Awards, Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, The International Business Awards, German Stevie Awards, IRPA Golden Awards and the Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
CubeSmart also received the 2015 People’s Choice Stevie Award for Favorite Customer Service in the All Other Industries Award. The company has had an excellent customer service reputation since this marks the third consecutive year it has received this award. CubeSmart was also the recipient of three Gold Stevies last year for Customer Service Department of the Year, Contact Center of the Year, and Customer Service Training Team of the Year. CubeSmart earned its top recognition from the 1, 900 nominations made and over 51, 000 votes that were cast.
President and CEO Christopher P. Marr said in a press release issued by the company, "To have these efforts recognized and see that our Customers are taking notice is exciting for us. We continue to differentiate ourselves within the self-storage industry through our more than 1,600 dedicated CubeSmart teammates who are focused on creating an unparalleled experience for our Customers every day."
CubeSmarts recent accomplishments in customer service were taken in stride but the company has plans to improve even further. It will be adding personalized services and technology to its existing self storage facilities.
