This facility is incredible in many ways! My family was relocating from Cleveland, OH to Punta Gorda, FL. and had to make arrangements for our arrival storage needs over the phone. I found Extra Space Storage on the internet and decide to call. My experience with the staff was excellent, very knowledgable, friendly and professional. Mrs. Ecker the facility Manager assured me over the phone that we would have a 10 X 15 unit securred for our arrival the following week. It was very comforting knowing after a twenty five hr truck ride, that there would not be any complications to deal with. Mrs Ecker called us the day before our projected arrival in FL. to see how our trip was progressing and to see if our arrival date was on target. Fortunately we were not experiencing any travel problems and our arrival date was on target. She expressed that if we did encounter any problems that she could extend the hold a day or two to accommodate our needs. It gave us peace of mind to know that Extra Space would hold our unit and not fill it with another customer if we encountered complications with our trip. The facility has excellent security inplace both inside and outside the facility. I am a clean freak and even I was impressed with the cleanliness of this facility. There is several carts and dollys there to use at no extra charge, which is refreshing. We secured a unit in the building which is air conditioned and it is working out great. They are definately customer service oriented at Extra Space! I highly recommend the Punta Gorda Extra Space Storage to anyone who needs EXTRA SPACE!!

The facility on Taylor in Punta Gorda is so clean, very affordable and super convenient. Add friendly and helpful staff and you have a winning combination.

I have been totally happy with my rental experience with Extra Space Storage. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the facility is very clean and the security is very good. It is easy to load and unload the units and there are always lots of carts and hand trucks available. With more than one door to load or unload there is always an easy way to access your unit. The halls are wide enough for easy transport of the 8-10 ft quilt racks that I have stored. I am so much happier with Extra Space Storage than my last storage facility.
