Very easy process to get started

I would like to review my experience with Extra Space Storage in LaVerne/San Dimas I have recently rented from as it has been a crucial part of my recent life changes and challenges. I was a live-in caregiver for my beautiful mother for the past 10 years but sadly she passed away in early July. The senior park we lived in gave me just a month to remove all of our belongings as I am not a senior and being an heir didn't make a difference. So under a major time constraint I began my search for a storage unit and started with a Public Storage in San Dimas. With only one person available to meet me I was unable to see it without an appointment and waited as long as I could but had to leave. I also tried to see a unit at Storage Centers but they also had a lack of staff and no appointment was available and San Dimas Lock up had a waiting list. I made an appointment for the following day to see the Public Storage and did internet searches all night and the following morning. There is just so many different facilities that all have different, crazy sizes, different specials and online deals, some upstairs, some inside buildings, some temperature controlled, some are small cozy park's, others seem large and scary and that all makes this process and the ultimate decision very difficult to say the least. And when you are unsure yourself where and what size you need it is even more challenging. By this point I am confused with options, tired of researching, beat by the heat, stressed beyond, running out of time and mourning the loss of my mother. I went to Extra Space at San Dimas Canyon and Arrow Highway before my appointment at Public and met Jeremy and we went over the options available at their location. He was just the best as I was having a nervous breakdown, had no clue what I was looking for, didnt know the questions to ask or have any experience with Storage facilities ever. Not to mention I have had to do this with minimal assistance from friends and family as everyone is busy with their own messy lives. Jeremy was sympathetic about my situation which calmed me down, he explained the details, rules and regulations required to rent a space, the various payment options available, their specials and then showed me several excellent units that were in prime locations. He was professional, easy to understand and did everything in a timely manner yet did not rush me while I was trying to consider all the choices in my state of confusion. And he was taking care of other clients at the same time, literally doing it all and with ease! I was so impressed with everything at Extra Space and blown away by Jeremy that I took a unit that day, missed my appointment at Public and passed on all the others I planned to see. And over the next week I had to reconsider the size I chose as my belongings were still being packed, yet keep my budget in mind as all the other expenses involved with moving were adding up and overwhelming me. During that time I met the manager, Byron, who was just as kind and understanding as Jeremy was! He helped me upgrade to a larger unit not once but twice until I got into the perfect unit and at a great rate! I am just so impressed with the staff here, how clean and well run it is and they cover everything and have an overall excellent place to store your valuables! As a woman I have felt safe there alone up until closing time at 10 pm and have actually met some really nice tenants who have helped me and that I have helped as we are in similar situations and I was surprised how things have all worked out. I would obviously recommend this facility to anyone as this has been one of the hardest things I have ever gone through, losing my mother, my home, some belongings I couldn't store and I would have lost my mind too, but Jeremy, Byron and Extra Space saved me! Thanks guys you are bomb!

No problem rented the unit online and with no trouble. Facility I rented at was having a "flash sale" so I got a killer price. Unit was clean & ready waiting for me. However,after having been there for 2 months,the rent on the unit doubled by the time the next months payment was due!
